The Miami University Student Foundation (MUSF) sponsors major campus programs, recruits top caliber students, and raises thousands of dollars annually for undergraduate scholarships – all while strengthening the link between students and alumni. Founded in 1972, MUSF is proudly sponsored and supported by the Miami University Alumni Association.

What is MUSF

The Miami University Student Foundation (MUSF), founded in 1972, is dedicated to developing and providing scholarships to Miami students. Our foundation aids the student leader, fulfills campus needs, and strengthens the Miami community through high standards of leadership, devotion to the unity of the community, and a strong passion and love for Miami.

MUSF fundraising events

• Family Weekend Auction – A Family Weekend event to auction of donated items in order to raise money for the MUSF scholarship endowment.
• Chicago Bus Trips – Provide transportation for students from campus to the Chicago area during major Miami University breaks.
• #MoveInMiami Annual Campaign
• 20/20 Bike Race

The profit generated from these MUSF events are folded back into the MUSF Scholarship Endowment, and the interest generated from the endowment is used to finance the eight $2,500 scholarships MUSF awards each year. For more than 40 years, MUSF has built an endowment that currently sits at over $580,000, and we have given away over $600,000 of scholarships to Miami students.
