18 of the Last 9 Award

Do you know an outstanding recent graduate?

Who do you think is already leaving their mark on the world? We invite you to nominate them for the Miami University Alumni Association’s 18 of the Last 9 Award.

Inspired by the university’s charter year of 1809, the award seeks to highlight and celebrate graduates from the past nine years who are living out the values inherent in a Miami education. For more than a decade, the award has recognized alumni who lead, innovate, or create a significant positive impact on the world around them through their work and/or service.

Alumni from class years 2014-2023 are eligible for this year’s 18 of the Last 9 cohort. Nominations were accepted earlier this year.

The final 18 honorees selected will be announced in the January, 2024 issue of the Miamian Express newsletter, on the MUAA website and social media pages, and celebrated throughout the year.

For questions, please contact Mollie Young at youngmr@MiamiOH.edu.

Meet the 2023-24 Class of 18 of the Last 9

Congratulations to this year's cohort of 18 of the Last 9 Award winners. Based on the popular “30 under 30” model and inspired by Miami University’s charter year of 1809, the program is designed to honor alumni who are living out the values inherent in a Miami education. In the program’s eleventh year, nearly 90 alumni were nominated for this award. Please join us in congratulating and celebrating the 2023-24 honorees:
