Although your class reunion is a time to look back fondly on your Miami years, it's also an opportunity for you and your classmates to renew your commitment to Miami's future. Reunion giving has become a tradition at Miami and we hope you will be a part of that tradition. This year, we are pleased to offer several options to commemorate your reunion year.
Class Scholarships:
- Each year, many of our alumni contribute to scholarship funds named in honor of their graduating classes.
- Class Scholarship funds provide annual scholarships to some of the university’s most promising students.
- Each class scholarship fund is set up as an endowment, so your class will forever play a significant role in helping Miami support talented students.
The Armstrong Student Center:
- For 200 years, Miami University has prepared students to thrive in their professional and personal lives through a transformative student experience. In honor of that tradition, and to capture the spirit of Miami’s Bicentennial, Miami will build a Armstrong Student Center (ASC) with the support of our alumni and friends. The ASC will create a much-needed focal point for the Miami Experience and will stand as a source of great pride for past, present and future generations of Miamians.
- Donors of $200 or more will have their name permanently displayed within the completed BSC – a great way to leave your legacy at Miami.

The Miami Fund:
- The Miami Fund is Miami University’s unrestricted fund. Miami relies on its alumni and their long tradition of unrestricted annual giving to help support the university’s general operations.
- These gifts are vitally important because they provide much needed, ongoing flexibility by allowing the university’s leadership to meet the highest priority needs, respond to unforeseen opportunities and invest in emerging areas of high potential.
- The Miami Fund benefits current students by providing resources for programs that cannot be funded by state assistance, tuition, or fees.
- In addition to sustaining current programs and resources, gifts to the Miami Fund allow Miami University to fund educational initiatives that respond to our changing world.
