Alumni College puts you back in the classroom. This is your opportunity to engage some of Miami’s most distinguished faculty on a variety of timely subjects. Whether your interests are in health, science, history, the media, or something else entirely, Alumni College’s Classes Without Quizzes have something for everyone. Alumni College also provides you with behind-the-scenes tours and interactive learning experiences through its Backstage Passes and Tours, which allow you to visit some of Miami’s newest facilities, enjoy a guided tour of the Equestrian Center, or even learn how to prepare a legendary Tuffy’s Toasted Roll.
The 50-year reunion class traditionally sponsors the Friday morning Opening Lecture. Dr. Curtis W. Ellison, editor of the "Miami University 1809-2009 Bicentennial Perspectives" book, will be the featured speaker. Although it is sponsored by the Golden Anniversary Class, the Opening Lecture is open to all.
Children ages 6-14 will also have the opportunity to attend Kids in College on Saturday. They’ll learn in an exciting college setting from engaging professors while their parents participate in an Alumni College session.
