Since 2004, Miami University has sponsored Winter College – a one-of-a-kind experience bringing Miami alumni and friends together with distinguished faculty for a fun and educational winter get-away.

Now in its seventh year, and with more than 500 “graduates” to date, Winter College heads to Florida’s eastern coast for the first time to enjoy the legendary accommodations of Coral Gables’ Biltmore Hotel … located just minutes from Miami.

Our 2010 educational experience centers on the theme “Changing Landscapes, Changing Lives.” Learn how Miami students are changing lives in Cincinnati’s Over-the-Rhine district, and explore contemporary topics ranging from internet social networking to health care that are changing society’s landscape and impacting our lives.

This year’s participants also will experience the final stop of the Bicentennial Tour display. This special collection, which has traveled from New York City to Southern California, chronicles the story of Miami’s 200 years through artifacts, photos, and graphic renderings.
