Uptown Street Party
Friday, June 15, 6:30 p.m.
Head Uptown for Friday night’s official kickoff party in and around Uptown Park. Enjoy delicious food from outdoor vendors, or catch up with friends at one of your go-to Oxford restaurants. With entertainment from the Campus Owls Tribute Band to be followed by local favorite country-rock band Stagger Lee, you’ll find it hard to keep your feet from dancing in the street!

Breakfast with the Hodges
Saturday, June 16, 7:30 a.m.
Enjoy breakfast on campus to start the day, while President David Hodge and University Ambassador Valerie Hodge discuss the current state of the University in the “Miami Update.”
Parade of Classes
Saturday, June 16, 5:30 p.m.
Show your class pride by marching in the Parade of Classes, an Alumni Weekend tradition that brings together Miamians of all ages. Gather with your classmates at the Hub and process to MiamiFest in Central Quad while hoisting class signs and making plenty of noise with red and white noisemakers—they’ll go perfectly with the red and white you’re wearing for the parade! A corps of bagpipers will lead the march, and the Alumni Band will take over for the parade’s rousing finale.
MiamiFest
Saturday, June 16, 6:30 p.m.
What better way to close out Alumni Weekend than with a big outdoor party?
MiamiFest, held Saturday evening in the MacCracken Quad, has it all—food, music and fun for the whole family!
With conveniently designated seating areas by class, catch up with friends over a meal catered by Miami’s Culinary Support Center; an array of award-winning dishes will be available, as well as a cash bar. Enjoy music from the Jimmy Buffett salute band Parrots of the Caribbean as they play all of your island favorites—perfect for a summer day! The kids will also enjoy the expanded KidsZone, complete with face-painting, clowns, bouncy houses and so much more.
Farewell Brunch

Say goodbye to Alumni Weekend 2012 with a delicious Southern-style breakfast buffet and a special performance from the Miami Glee Club in the Shriver Center Multi-Purpose Rooms.

Class Reunions
Class of 1962 Reception & Dinner
Members of the Miami Class of 1962 will gather Thursday evening for a special celebration that's worthy of a golden anniversary. To top off an evening of fine dining, music and nostalgia, President David Hodge will recognize members of the Class of 1962 with a special medallion ceremony in honor of their 50-year anniversary milestone.
Friday Night Reunion Parties
Friday, June 15, 8 p.m.
Join fellow alumni and friends at a designated Uptown spot for a Reunion Class Party Friday night after the Uptown Street Party! Check your final schedule upon arrival for more information.
Class of 1952 & 1957 Reunions
Friday, June 15, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
In honor of their respective 60th and 55th anniversaries, the Classes of 1952 and 1957 will host a light dinner buffet and cash bar reception in the Shriver Center Friday evening. President David Hodge and MUAA Executive Director Ray Mock will recognize these class members.
Hughes Society Luncheon & Class of 1962 Induction
Saturday, June 16, Noon
This traditional gathering of the “wisest” Miami alumni is open to all Miamians who graduated at least 50 years ago. This year’s luncheon will feature a unique induction ceremony for the Class of 1962, the newest 50-year reunion class.

Following the opening lecture of Alumni College, gather with classmates for a Friday luncheon featuring a slideshow of memories, class scholarship update, and emeriti faculty & staff as special guests.
