Miami University’s official class ring is an enduring symbol representing more than 200 years of honor and tradition. This classic signet ring, featuring the Miami seal, is a statement that its bearer is a person of excellence and integrity – a Miami University graduate. A representative from Balfour will be available at GradFest in March. Each men’s and women’s ring symbolically captures the essence of Miami University with the University’s Seal carved into the solid gold ring. First drawn in 1826, the Seal contains the motto Prodesse Quam Conspici, “To accomplish rather than to be conspicuous.” The open book represents accumulation of knowledge, the globe represents the world of the present, and the telescope symbolizes probing the future. Look to your diploma to see the elements of the Seal. Wear the ring and carry all the Seal’s many meanings with you. Prices vary Visit Balfour.com for details.
