Alumni often ask me what today’s college students are like. I’d have to say that one of their more visible shared traits is their desire to be connected to each other and to the world 24/7. Walking to and from classes, they pull their smartphones from their backpacks and text and tweet nonstop. There’s even a term for that – twalking.
