Put your Miami Pride into action:
Miami alumni engagement opportunities
Miami's more than 190,000
alumni span the globe, and local alumni chapters are a
great way to find Miamians in your own community. Your
involvement can range from attending chapter gatherings
to planning events or even launching a new chapter.
Nobody understands the value of the
Miami Experience more than the alumni who have lived
it, and that makes Miami's alumni some of the university's
greatest ambassadors. MUCORP is comprised of
trained volunteers, who, through their interactions with
prospective students and their communities in general,
raise Miami's visibility around the world. Involvement
may include representing Miami at college fairs, assisting
Miami's admission staff, and recruiting your fellow
Miamians to help spread the word.
Most Miamians feel their strongest
connection to alma mater through their affiliation with
a specific group, team or organization. Help foster those
continued relationships and support current students
through engaging your fellow alumni via communication
and special events.
Get something more out of your next
winter escape. Miami's annual Winter College combines
warm weather and world-class accommodations with
fun and educational programming. Join some of Miami's
most talented faculty members for engaging "Classes
without Quizzes" that explore a wide range of fascinating
and timely topics. Your three-day adventure also includes
memorable local excursions, fine dining, and, best of all,
the wonderful company of your fellow Miamians.
Miami's summer tradition is
Alumni Weekend, an unforgettable event each June
during which alumni of all ages take back the campus.
Highlights include class reunion events, Alumni College,
the Parade of Classes, celebrations featuring live music,
and the magic of just being back on campus. Each year,
alumni volunteers from reunion classes and alumni
groups work together to ensure Alumni Weekend is as
unforgettable as the friends you meet there.
