Thank you Chicago!
As most of you know, the weekend of February 15 - 17 was a tremendous showcase for Miami in Chicago. Hundreds of alumni showed their Miami pride by participating in events throughout the weekend, culminating with the game against Notre Dame on Sunday. While the outcome of the game was not ideal, Miami pride was on full display as we took over Soldier Field and cheered for our RedHawks.

Mission Statement / Value Proposition
The Chicago Chapter of the Miami University Alumni Association is a volunteer led group of alumni dedicated to connecting alumni, students, and friends in lifelong support of Miami University and each other through Networking, Social, and Philanthropic programming.

- Build an active community of Chicago based alumni.
- Sponsor programs that educate, entertain, and inform alumni, while providing an opportunity for networking.

Did you know your area alumni chapter has a scholarship fund?
The Chicago Chapter continuously raises money to support the Cynthia Bland O’Toole – Chicago Alumni Chapter Scholarship. The Cynthia Bland O’Toole Scholarship is awarded to a first-year student from the Chicago area.
Support your Alumni Chapter Scholarship by visiting www.forloveandhonor.org/givetomu. Make sure to specify which scholarship you want your donation to go toward by typing in the scholarship name in the [Other] field.

We hope this breakdown provides you with further transparency of the distribution of alumni across the greater Chicago metropolitan area. As the Chapter's Leadership lives within the City of Chicago, which is also where the largest group of alumni live, the majority of our events are planned in this area. However, being cognizant of the number of alumni that live in the large suburban areas surrounding the city, we would really like to expand the Chapter's event offerings, but we need your help to do so. If you would like to host a Chicago Chapter Miami Alumni Event closer to your area, feel free to reach out to a board member, and we will help you plan, advertise, and execute your event.
