Academy Award winner Geena Davis will deliver the keynote address on Thursday evening, April 3 for the inaugural Women in Leadership Symposium; she will speak on her experiences as an actor, athlete, and advocate for women’s leadership, encouraging women and girls to dream big, set goals and be the best they can be.

The conference marks the official launch of a larger university-wide initiative entitled M.I.A.M.I. Women (Miami Initiative for Advancing, Mentoring and Investing in Women), which is uniting campus offices and student groups as well as engaging alumni in its various efforts.
