Welcome to the Lambda Chi Alpha Alumni Group!
This is where you will find all your information about the Zeta-Upsilon Chapter of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity at Miami University. Our proud history dates back to 1940 when then Miami University President Alfred Upham felt a new fraternity was a necessity on campus. Upham took steps to found what was to become the Adanerion Club which ultimately became a colony Lambda Chi Alpha in 1948. If you are an alum of Zeta-Upsilon we encourage and welcome your active participation in the exciting events outlined at this site.
And the chapter's most recent accomplishment? In July 2010 Z-U Zeta received numerous honors at the 53rd General Assembly of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity in Phoenix, Arizona. While Brother Jonas Dominique completed his term on the Grand High Zeta, our first brother ever to so serve, he was replaced by Brother Michael J. Raymond, ZU 384, who became Grand High Theta. Congratulations to both Jonas and Mike. Brother John Bloom was awarded the Order of Merit, the sixth alum of Z-U Z to gain this recognition, for his outstanding service to our local chapter.
And then there was the North American Food Drive! Not only did Z-U Z collect the equivalent of over 200,000 pounds of food (219,918 pounds to be exact), that total was deemed to be #1 of all chapters nationwide. Congrats to Damian Kramer and all the brothers who participated in this philanthropic event. The chapter was also recognized for alumni programming, membership recruitment and campus involvement.
