Capital campaign surpasses $500 million fundraising goal
Love and Honor indeed. The Miami University campaign For Love and Honor, the most successful fundraising effort in university history, has surpassed its $500 million goal. >>

Supporting student success
Miami and Rookwood Pottery Co., the historic provider of artisan-quality products, unveiled the first limited edition Rookwood tile featuring Upham Hall Thursday, June 13, in Rookwood's Cincinnati-based studio and showroom. A portion of the proceeds will be going toward student scholarships. >>

Research makes science fiction reality
Jason Berberich, assistant professor of chemical and paper engineering, is a biomedical engineer who has helped develop and commercialize a number of products using enzymes. He thinks enzymes might be the key to bringing tricorder technology to life. >>

Right time to write
Students at Riverview Elementary School in Hamilton, Ohio, call it "the Hyphenator" — a writing trick that can turn ordinary fifth-grade sentences into "crazy-brilliant prose." It's just one of many tools taught to elementary teachers and students through a Miami University outreach program. >>
