From the desk of the Director of Travel Programs
Dear Alumni and Friends:
If you’ve missed being in contact with stimulating teachers, next year you’ll have the opportunity to travel with two of Miami’s favorite faculty members. Jack Keegan will share his expertise on horticulture during the Caribbean cruise on the Sea Cloud II in January. In late February, Osama Ettouney will be sharing information about his homeland on the trip to Egypt where you’ll see not only pyramids and temples, but excavation sites not usually open to the public.
The schedule for 2009 is listed below. Details will be added to the trip listing as information is available.
- History & Gardens of the Caribbean on the Sea Cloud II, January 23-30
- Skiing in Breckenridge, Colorado, February 2-8
- Antiquities of Egypt & Jordan, February 25-March 10
- Italian Favorites – Rome & Florence, March 14-22
- Treasurers of Argentina & Chile, April 4-16
- Tulip Time Cruise on the Avalon Tranquility, April 25-May 3
- Exploring Alaska’s Coastal Wilderness on the Sea Bird, May 17-24
- Ukraine & Romania, June 23-July 6
- Salmon River Whitewater Adventure, August 1-7
- Croatia & Venetian Treasures, September 18-26
- Kyota & the Noto Peninsula, September 29-October 8
- Alumni Campus Abroad in Chianti, October 4-12
- China, Tibet & the Yangtze River, October 27-November 15
- Yuletide Traditions in Salzburg & Vienna, December 5-13
There’s still time to reserve space on one of our travel programs for this fall. Check the trip listing to find one that fits with your interests and schedule.
