Assistant Vice President/Executive Director

Ray is the Executive Director of the Miami University Alumni Association, and as such oversees all operations of the Alumni Association. Additionally, he works closely with the national Board of Directors to develop strategies and direction for the Association.

Ray received a bachelor's degree in Political Science from Miami in 1982, and a Master's in Education in 1983. He returned to Oxford in 1986. Ray and his wife Jill have three children; Sean, Laura and Christopher.

Ray and Jill are lifetime members of the Miami University Alumni Association.

Toni Gebhart

Assistant to the Assistant Vice President

Toni is the administrative assistant to Ray Mock, assistant vice president and executive director of the Alumni Association, and works closely with the Alumni Board of Directors and Alumni Association Ambassadors (former Board members). She also serves as the central resource person for the Alumni Office, serves as budget administrator, and assists Ray Mock in carrying out his duties. Toni is the coordinator of the Alumni Association Awards Banquet held annually during Homecoming Weekend. Toni also receives all correspondence from the web site directed to alumni@muohio.edu.

Toni has been with Miami University since 1991.

Alumni Outreach and Engagement

Cathy (Miller) Greene '72

Director of Alumni Outreach and Engagement

Cathy is responsible for the overall management of the staff working with the Chapter Program, Constituency Program, Alumni Continuing Education Program, and the Alumni Admission Recruitment Network (AARN). She is also director of the Travel Program and the principal division liaison to the Office of Admission and the Campus Owls.

Cathy received a bachelor's degree in vocational home economics education in 1972 and has taken graduate classes in management at Miami University . She has worked at Miami since 1976. She and her husband, Bill are a Miami Merger (BFA '72, MFA '78). They have three sons, Andrew '00, Nick and Nathaniel ’10 and one grandson. Cathy and Bill are lifetime members of the MU Alumni Association.

Brian Breittholz

Associate Director, Alumni Continuing Education

Brian Breittholz coordinates continuing educational experiences offered by the Miami University Alumni Association including Alumni College at Alumni Weekend, Winter College, and programs showcasing our talented faculty with alumni constituents around the country. Brian also serves as the staff liaison to the 10-year reunion committee and coordinates the annual selection of the Alumni Association Effective Educator Award.

Brian received his bachelor's degree in journalism in 1986 from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University and his master's of education from Ohio University in 1988. Brian joined Miami in 1992 as the Director of Greek Affairs and joined University Advancement in 1999 as Director of Advancement for Student Affairs before taking over continuing education programming in 2003.

Brian lives in Oxford with his three dogs, affectionately known as his “three girls,” Kaile, Brandy, and Abby.

Steve Warden

Assistant Director, Chapter Programming

Steve is an assistant director for the Alumni Association and works with the Miami University Alumni Association's Chapter Program.

His responsibilities include providing guidance, training, and leadership development to all chapter leaders, facilitating annual planning meetings with chapters to coordinate an annual calendar of events, communicating with chapter leaders, attending chapter meetings and events, maintaining the chapter webpages, and coordinating all new chapter requests.

Program Associate

Joanne joined the Alumni Association office in October of 2006 as program associate. She assists with Constituency Groups and the Alumni Chapter Program.

Pamela Hogeback

Program Associate

Pamela is the administrator of the Alumni Admission Recruitment Network. She works closely with the Admissions Office staff and alumni volunteers to coordinate activities such as college fairs, accepted student contacts, and receptions.

Pamela also provides staff support for the Alumni Association Travel Program, Campus Owl activities, and supervises the student workers. She is the person to contact if Cathy Greene is unavailable.

Debbie has been the receptionist for the Alumni Association staff since 2001. She is the eyes and the ears of the Miami University Alumni Association and will direct you to the proper place for answers to your questions. Whether you are trying to contact a classmate or want to know how to get your own Miami commemorative ornaments, Debbie will help you get the answer.

Alumni Membership and Marketing

Jennifer Heil-Clark MBA '88

Director of Alumni Membership and Marketing

Jennifer is responsible for the Membership and general marketing functions of the Alumni Association in addition to managing the Association's Merchandise and Partner Programs. She also oversees student programs including MUSF and Alumni Weekend.

Her duties include member communication, development and retention; managing the Member Discount Program; overseeing the Association's brand identity and general image advertising; and managing all affinity partnership programs.

Jennifer received a bachelor's degree in Business with a concentration in marketing from The University of Cincinnati in 1982 and a masters of business administration in marketing from Miami University in 1988. Jennifer and her husband, Tom, have a daughter and are lifetime members of the MU Alumni Association.

Sue Harris

Associate Director, Alumni Weekend and Marketing

Sue is an associate director for the Alumni Association and works with Alumni Weekend and Marketing. She previously had served as a Director of Development at Miami since 2005.

Sue came to Miami from the University of Minnesota, where she worked in athletics for development and administration. She is a graduate of Minnesota and is married to Mike Harris, Miami`95. Mike and Sue are lifetime members of the MUAA.

Leslie Marmor '80

Assistant Director, Office of Career Services

Leslie is responsible for all aspects of the Alumni Career Services program, including career advising.  Her position is shared between the Office of Career Services in Hoyt Hall and the Miami University Alumni Association.

Leslie received a Bachelor's in Sociology from Miami in 1980 and a Master's of Education in Human Resource Development from Xavier University in 1997.  Leslie is a lifetime member of the Miami University Alumni Association.

Mark Macechko '01

Assistant Director, Student Programming

Mark is responsible for the Student Programming in the Alumni Association, including the Miami University Student Foundation (MUSF).

As the advisor to MUSF, he is responsible for supporting students with respect to programs such as Family Weekend Auction and Dinner , Triathlon, Chicago Bus Trips, Senior Week and Alumni programming at Homecoming. Along with student programming, Mark coordinates the MUSF students to serve as Presidential hosts.

Mark received his Bachelor's degree in Speech Communication from Miami University in 2001 and his Master of Education from the University of Arkansas in 2003. He and his wife Amy (Wheeler) Macechko '01 are lifetime members of the Miami University Alumni Association and live in Oxford with their dog, Goggin.

Nicki Russell

Program Associate

Nicki has been with Miami University since 2001. Her responsibilities include assisting Jennifer Clark with the Membership program and managing the Merchandise program. Nicki’s other duties include Lifetime brick installation, communicating with partner programs, and staff photographer.

When not at work, Nicki enjoys spending time with her kids, reading, and watching movies.

Linda Ward

Senior Administrative Secretary

Linda joined the Alumni Association office in June 2003. She assists Kathy Squance with Alumni Weekend, Hughes Society, and SOME. She also provides support to Mark Macechko with MUSF. Her responsibilities include retrieval and maintenance of information pertinent to the coordination of events, budget reports, scheduling, and communication with alumni.

Linda's outside interests include singing, acting, directing, reading, and watching movies. She also is the Webmaster for the Indiana Theatre Association.

Andrea West '00

Membership Coordinator

Andrea works with Jennifer Clark on the Membership Program. Her responsibilities are answering membership calls and e-mails, signing up new members and existing members as renewals, processing memberships and mailing out membership benefit packets.

Andrea graduated from Miami in 2000 with a degree in Public Relations and a minor in Anthropology. She has been working at the University since 2002. She enjoys vacationing with her husband Bryan.
